SKIN CARE
Every girl wants to look beautiful and attractive. No girl growing up these days do not have a role model. They either want to look like their favourite film actress or model but what you have to remember is that you are no less attractive and beautiful. You have to believe in yourself and be yourself. You have to make the best of what you have got and therefore you have to take the best care of your skin.

Following are a few guidelines that you have to follow to have a flawless, silky, smooth and vivacious skin:

Cleansing: Cleanse your face everyday with a cleansing cream. This will keep your pores open so that your skin can breathe and it will also keep the dirt away. Also cleanse or wash your body once a day and your genital areas more often if possible. Do not use a strong soap on your face for cleansing since the skin of your face id very delicate. If you are using soap then choose a mild soap to cleanse your face.

Moisturising: Moisturising is the most important thing that you can do to your skin and the most early you start it is better for your skin. Upto the age of 20 a light miosturising cream is sufficient. Apply it after a bath or after you cleanse your face. Apply it morning and evening as many times as you cleanse your face.

Removing makeup: You have to take extra care while removing makeup because your skin is tender and makeup can be hard on your skin. So as far as possible use makeup only at parties. Always remove eye make eye makeup remover pad or cleansing lotion. Put a generous amount of cleansing lotion on your face and massage with your fingertips. Then wipe it off with a tissue. To refresh your skin smooth a little toner over your face. And ultimately dab moisturising lotion generously over your face using your fingertips. Massage it gently and smoothly into each curve and crevices around your eyes.

Care for Dry Skin: Dry skin looks dry, sometimes flakes and often feels tight, particularly if you have washed it with soap. For such a skin type always use mild, alcohol free makeup and toner and a rich creamy cleanser. Try to moisturise your face as many times as you can and apply the moisturiser generously.

Care for Oily Skin: Oily skin looks dull and full of grease. Oily skin is more prone to acne and spots because it contains a lot of sebum, which helps to prevent the skin from drying out. However oily skin does not age quickly though you have to take more care of it. Wash your face with soap and water. Use toners and astringents containing alcohol and always use a non-greasy cleanser. Wash your face twice with soap and water, gently massage for a minute and wash off.

Care for Combination skin: Most of us have this type of skin, with an oily centre panel across the forehead, nose and chin and areas of dry patch across our cheeks, eyes and necks. Use a mild milky cleanser and moisturise the drier areas quite frequently.

MAKE-UP TIPS
Except for parties teenagers should use makeup most sparingly. Try to keep your face as natural as possible. Follow our makeup tips given below.

Foundation: Use foundation cream to cover up little blemishes that are there on the skin and foundation will also give your skin an even finish. Choose the foundation cream, which is as close as your skin tone. Blend it evenly and don't forget to blend it into your neck.

Powder: Powder helps in mixing and setting your foundation right and also adds a natural glow to your skin. Use loose powder since it gives an even finish and the excess is easy to remove. However compressed powder is easy to carry around so girls find that handy.

Blusher: Blusher gives your face warmth and makes it livelier. But use it properly since blush used at wrong places might give quite funny looks. For example if you use blush too near to your nose, it will draw your face inwards. If you want to make your eyes appear wide the just sweep some blush outwards. If you want a chiselled look dab some under your cheekbones.

Highlighter: You can use highlighters to give shape and appearance to your face and also to draw attention to your good and plus points, such as your eyes. You can put a touch of highlighter on the top of your cheekbone and under your brow.

Eye make-up: Do not use eye makeup at daytime. Use a light colour to cover your eyelid and eye socket. Take a slightly dark colour and shade in above your eye crease and down to the top of your eyelid. Outline the eye as close to the lashes as you can and blend in both top and bottom lines so that they don't look too hard. Apply two coats of mascara to upper and lower lashes.

Lipstick: Lipstick adds colour to your face and thus is said to give the finishing touch. Outline the lips with a lip pencil in either the same shape as your lipstick or one shade darker and fill in with lipstick. Add a lip glow afterwards if you like.

HAIR CARE

Every girl has a different hair texture and hair type. Some have dry hair, some have oily hair while some have normal hair. Therefore each hair type has a different treatment.

Care for oily hair:
Oily hair has a very common teenage problem because your scalp is producing a little more sebum and oil than it should. For oily hair care do the following:

1.Wash your hair as often as you can and if possible everyday but use a mild shampoo or a shampoo, which is for frequent or daily use.
2.Avoid using anti-dandruff shampoos, which also stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum.
3.Try not to brush and comb your hair a lot since both of these activities will stimulate the sebaceous glands.

4.You don't have to apply a conditioner for oily hair.
5.If you want to make your hair drier then you can get it permed, dyed or tinted

Care for dry hair:
Dry hair needs extra care since it easily gets split ends and looks listless. For dry hair care do the following:

1. Always use a good conditioner after applying shampoo and washing your hair.
2. Let your hair dry naturally and even if you do use a blower, dry your hair on low heat.
3. Before shampooing your hair apply oil thoroughly to your hair and keep it for 1 hour and then wash.
4. Wash your hair as infrequently as possible, perhaps once in 4 days and use a mild shampoo.
5. Don't brush your hair out, just comb it gently. FAST Hair Growth

Dealing With Dandruff Trouble
Dandruff is a big problem and an embarrassment but if you know your facts right about dandruff you can deal with this problem. Dandruff is not abnormal, nor does an infection or fungus cause it. It is merely skin cells that are lost from the surface of your scalp all the time and the presence of hair blocks the dead cells from falling off. They become piled up into thicker dead scales and this is called dandruff. You can thus control this accumulation of dead cells with regular, frequent washing, if possible everyday with a mild shampoo or a shampoo for daily use. Avoid rubbing or scratching but rinse your hair thoroughly so that you don't leave any shampoo behind.

Choosing a Hairstyle
Your hairstyle should be one which is easily manageable and which will allow to be dried naturally and too much styling. The best way to find a hairstyle is to flip through a magazine and whichever style you choose make sure that it suits your face and looks realistic. SELECTING A BRA

It is a fact that between 70 and 85 percent of girls out there are not wearing a proper fitting bra. Either they are wearing the wrong size or the wrong style which is appropriate for them. Selecting a bra may seem like a simple process, but getting a comfortable fit can be tricky. It is important that you were the right bra to give proper support to your breasts. If your breasts are heavy and you do not support them properly then the suspensory ligaments will stretch and your breasts will sag. To receive the best possible fit and support from your bra, it is important to remember a few key points, and to take advantage of the expertise of the sales personnel where you are shopping. Though it will be a bit odd to take help from others but it is worth it.

Measuring For Proper Bra Size
1. First measure yourself around the ribs, just below your bust keeping tape snug not tight. Remember to stand up straight and breath normally. If the measurement is an uneven number, round up to the next even number.
2. To determine the cup size, you'll need to measure around your body at the fullest part of the bust. Be certain the measuring tape is secure against your back.
3. When you have the two measurements, subtract the first measurement (the rib measurement) from the second measurement (the bust). If the difference is 1 inch, your cup size is A; 2 inches is a B; 3 inches is a C and so forth. See the chart listed below.

There are many types of bras available and you have to decide which type is best for you. If you are a very active person then invest in a sports bra, which will not only give you comfort but also will give you the support you need.
